LOOP HOUSE
Single Family House
The house is situated in the vicinity of Bucharest in a largely un-built area, close to some film sets and the Romanian Olympic Committee. The project is unusual for its design team: the joint design team SYAA-Bucharest and Fujimoto Architects –Tokyo. The challenge is to implement Japanese conceptual design with Romanian building technology. The Loop-House consist of an overlapping of concrete and glass ribbons of varying sizes mediating between - and delineating interior and exterior spaces.
