CORCOVA HOUSE
In year of 2007 we were commissioned to design a house in a beautiful valley near Corcova region, on a hilly site of aprox. 60ha. During these nearly two years place have been changing slowly and constantly. From a natural Valley it became a well organized vineyard valley with hundred thousand wine noble plants and a life full place.
The client wanted a house for his future family and a guest area.
First of all we had to find the appropriate place for the family house inside the vineyard.
In the end of 2008, in the old wine cellars known as the Stirbei wine cellars, a new wine was produced. At that moment a new site, right near to the cellars was proposed by the client for the new house. The new place destination is similar to the old one, it will be planted with wines and similar approach will be made in finding a place and solution for the house.
