The volume of the existing industrial buildings present in the town's memory has been translated into the design of the courts confined by these volumes themselves. Therefore, it was possible for us to functionally reorganize the pile and re-dimension the individual buildings. The project is organised according to the two directional axes present in the town's establishment and maintain the scale of its buildings. The volumes which form the pile are based on a 90 cm module signifying the space in which a child feels comfortable. The new complex is planned around 6 public squares representing the negative space of the industrial plants (the interior becomes exterior). These buildings that had been for a long time the symbol of the main industrial occupation in the area (hemp rope production) thus reborn in a new form according to the current public life of the town.
